Elders who in normal times have the responsibility of passing on the traditions et al to gen-next are confused to say the least. Liberal traits in our community had already set in the rot, but now, the fear of losing our cultural roots is real & we have become very sensitive about it.
Travel
Having reached a stage in life, where questions about final resting place are to be confronted with, we had almost given up the plans to return considering the situation in Kashmir. With children settled in their own world, we had almost stopped thinking about returning to Kashmir.

Faith
Ours, is a religion which may not conform to common definitions of religion. Even SC had to labor on it and define it as a way of life. There seems to be a resurgence in present times to re-state and articulate our Religious and Nationalistic credentials. This is refreshing and needs to be appreciated. We only need to be cautious of the wrong projections of these themes.
